My Whirlpool ADG7540 Integrated Dishwasher is working perfectly - but no hot water :( ..... Its about 6.5 years old and for the last 4/5 years been used everyday....

Is there anything I could check myself ? Could it be the element? If so, could I do this myself? If it was the element, would anyone know approximately how much would I pay for a call-out fee for someone to fix it (if it was for example the element)? And would it be worth it being the age it is or should I just try and buy a new one?

    Many thanks for any help.

Update: definately was element... got new one today.

Hi, did you take advantage of the 8yrs parts warranty with Whirlpool? If you did the callout is about €70 and the parts are free through Whirlpool.

No... we inherited the machine when we moved into our current home .. so to be honest I never thought of that, I'm not sure if they pass on the guarantee to another person?... anyhow it was about 7 years old I reckon anyway.. so we got a new one...:). Thanks tho - something to remember for the future.
