I supported them years ago at the trinity ball, they were great and thouroughly nice blokes as well.
Not sure they suit a huge gig though, you miss the energy of a rave in large surroundings

the vibe on the main stage was great don't get me wrong,
i was down the back on a hill and all ya could see in front of ya was a sea of people mad out of it hoppin around.

was just their track selection 4 the night, they played all their slow stuff.
"their law" "spitfire" and the like.
then "no good (start the dance)" kicked in and the place was gettin ready 2 explode, but it turned out 2 be a stupid slow break beat mix of the tune.

truth be known, the only good tune they played that night was "out of space" right at the end.
was sick i left lisa lashes 4 that crap!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,614 ✭✭✭es-cee

does any1 at all have this track on mp3?
i've searched high & low 4 it and only came accross the poxy "CREDO" mix.
its such a let down compared 2 the 1 on HP 3.

i think its "ERICS CLASSIC MIX" i'm after, correct me if i'm wrong.
its a proper classic, and such a hard tune 2 find online.
even youtube took the vid off its site.

if any1 has it let us know, really need this track, 1 of me very favs!!

I know CAF said in the past cleaning up & enhancing an already compressed file is like Lip stick on a pig but a pig with lip stick is better looking than one without i say:D

Heres Sara Colohan originally posted by Derra with all of the background noise/hiss taken out & the sound levels made more even from start to finish & louder......is more pleasurable to listen to even if it hasnt been improved really;)

    Hi Guys

I rarely check in on this thread, I pretty much trust the community on here to just keep things running/in check themselves. I hope you will take the points I'm about to make in good faith.

It's been brought to my attention that there has been sharing of copyrighted tracks for download on this thread. In case there was any confusion about this, this is not allowed on boards.ie. This has been decided over time by the site owners. Below is a rough guide for what is/isnt allowed

Sharing individual tracks/albums for download that are copyrighted isnt allowed on Boards.ie, it doesnt matter how old or new they are.

Boards members sharing their mixes/DJ mixes not commercially available is fine.

Posting links to youtube of tracks is fine.

Lads there are heaps of places on the net to get links to tracks/albums. I just ask users here not to post them on this forum. I'm not going issuing bans or any of that stuff, just gonna tidy up a few posts and we can get on with things. I really dont want to have to start checking into this thread each day, so I'm placing a level of trust in the community on here not to post such links, and if someone does please let me know so I can remove it. PM or report post function please

    Cheers

    Kev

    Hey derra

The boards higher ups decided it was okay. Thats fine by me. The download piece is not my personal viewpoint. I just follow the guidelines handed down by this sites owners.

I understand your position Kev and not having a go or anything :)

Nevertheless ,strange point of view by the powers that be  They seem to be very unsure themselves about the whole issue in that case. Which was not really issue since 2005 concerning this thread, but some people get pleasure from ruining other peoples joy ;)

Here all this balls about Rave tracks being copyrighted.....it says on all copyrights 'No hiring, lending, Public performance etc'......surley all Raves are in breach of copyright when the track is spun at them then which also implies then that nightclubs, bars, restaurants, shopping centres & anywhere that has random tracks being played are aswell.........in reality you aint going to get brought to court over a years old Rave track being shared on a forum but i respect the boards rules & decision.
