This is the superb Italian place where Chez K's was (the old McConnell's Garage).

Havent seen any signs of movement there for ages now, anyone know if it's closed for good or just temporarily?

The website of their sister restaurant, Via Veneto in Enniscorthy, doesnt mention it.

Its one of those places where people seem to have had their dream dinner or dinner from hell...I haven't heard any in-betweens! Went there once, thought it was the best Italian restaurant I'd been in...including experiences in Rome, Venice, Milan

I must fall into the category of dinner from hell. Anyway, to answer your question, yes it seems to have closed. No lights on there for a couple of weeks now.

Have to join you in that one - probably the worst dining experience I have ever had anywhere in the world and not surprised if it is closed!

Think they tryed to be posh to be honest with the pianist and the like, the menu was a nightmare if you were a fussy eater.

Interesting comments! I'd be fussy for quality but not on menu options so maybe that's why I seem to be alone here in missing it. Or maybe cos it was Valentines night and I got all romantic

    Thanks for the info

    That could be it...

In my case it was being left sitting at an empty table for twenty minutes without so much as a menu, cutlery, bread or, God forbid, a drink. When the food did eventually arrive it was a travesty. Octopus with mashed potato anyone?
