Why do I need to create a personal profile to use Twitter App

    Hi

    I setup a facebook page for a small business. Now I need to use the twitter app but it is saying I need to create a personal profile in order to use it. Why? If I do create a personal profile will this
    adversely affect my business page in any way?

    Do you not have a personal page to start with? i.e. you as an individual. Normally to set up a business page you have to have an existing personal profile. I wonder did you set up your business page as a personal profile?

    I tried using the Twitter app for our "page" on Facebook but it kept posting the tweets to my personal profile so I ditched it.

    Same here, the twitter apps I have looked at seem to be directed at the page owner's profile. I noted on the Ceasar Millan's page though that he was able to post there using a service called Hoot which I haven't investigated yet - seems to be a Twitter manager of some sort.
