Is an Irish full driving licence OK for driving in France or do I need to get an International one?

It's ok for driving in pretty much every country in the world. The 'International' one is just a translation of your existing one that is only valid with the original license.

Dont bother with the AA IDL.

    It is not required.

If you have a FULL Irish License then work away.

I have never needed an IDL in all the countries I have driven in around the world including France many times.

    Dont waste your money.
