Remember it well - great aul gig! Hoping it happens now, I'd be at it in an instant.

Low Ends Festival is on down in Waterford that weekend - 28th & 29th, so glad it doesn't clash with that - thinking of heading to it on the Saturday to see Primordial.

    Oh god yes.

The Olympia looks a more likely bet. Marley Park and The O2 would be tough sells unless the lineup was bolstered by a couple of decently-sized acts.

Would be great to see them in such a small venue but I'll settled with their set at Pukkelpop. I'd say tickets here will be in the €55-65 range.

Olympia was confirmed by Hotpress as the venue earlier today. Tickets will go like crazy. :-(

any ideas when tix go on sale.

Cannot wait to see these guys. It was RATM last year and now FNM.

Wonder if we will see White Zombie or Soundgarden doing the decent thing soon??

Hmmm I'm in Australia till 2nd September. My cousin thinks he failed an exam, so may have to leave start of August. Please say he fails haha:D If not...I'm going home early and missing Queensryche over here!

damn Mushy - don't get into these situations :p

I don't know, I really wouldn't come back early and miss out on Queensryche on the idea of FNM playing, lets be honest (although I'm really excited about the prospect of them playing) they are one of the flakiest bands in the history of rock - and although they are looking like they are enjoying it, August 27th is still over 2 months away and a month or so on the road they might just decide to call it a day again....
would be far worse if you came all that way and then it was cancelled.....

I guess first thing is to try and get a bloody ticket :-)
there's no doubt at all just from looking at a couple of message boards that the interest for this gig will far surpass the capacity of the Olympia......

    EPIC! (Sorry)

Hope I'll get a ticket now, always wanted to catch em live.

Haha, its a nice choice to have alright. I wouldn't go home unless my cousins fails, which means he has to go early. So i'll just go with the flow for now.

Will def get a ticket just incase. Can always sell it on anyway. Gonna be expensive...since I got here, I've bought a Muse ticket, will get Dream Theater on Monday, and maybe this:O

Very disappointed to hear it's the Olympia, it's going to be an absolute nightmare to get tickets. Have never bothered going out of my way to buy any before so how does it work, you just keep clicking on 'buy tickets' until you either get one or they sell out?

yeah that's about it........pure random luck really, it's pot luck, especially when there's only 1,500 or less tickets available....

Omg, that's just blasphemy!!! I'm going mad I'm missing them this year. Wanted to go to Hellfest & see them but have an exam on next Saturday, so Graspop won out. I'm seen them almost every year since 2000 & they're fantastic live. Went to see them last year around this time to see OMC 1 & 2 in London, friggin amazing! One of the, if not the, best gig of my life!

Really wanna see Faith No More next year, but ya can't ever dis Queensryche for FNM, it's just wrong!

Its a tough choice. Can't see myself being over here anyway, so would miss Queensryche either way.

Yes, yes you do. If I end up at it, I'll be on my own I'd say.
