    Hi all,

I am in some confusion as I am hearing it different from different sides. I have just been on to my local Welfare office and have been told that I am only eligible for part-time jobseekers benefit for work between 1-3 days per week. I queried if it is possible to work a fourth day (Sundays) and was bluntly told "no".

I do about 20 hours a week, so will I need to have my days (3) lengthened to 7 hours a day, or can I keep 5 hours a day includin Sunday?

Can anyone set me straight on this once and for all? I would appreciate any help anyone can give me...

    Cheers,

    C.

Sunday isn't on the slip. Or wasn't on the slip 6 months ago.

So there's nowhere to declare that you work on Sunday, basically.

Thanks for the quick reply Xiney...

By "not on the slip" do you effectively mean it's not included, and therefore they only look at the 3 days worked outside of Sunday? So in that case working 4 days is ok for the purpose of collecting JB?

I don't know if theyve cahnged it or something, as yer one was adament, as I'd done a search on here b4 calling them...

EDIT: Sorry, I think u pretty much answered that question.
