Garmin Edge 705 in MPG!!

    Just bought a garmin Edge 705. The speed/distance is in MPH/miles??
    I know its an American product but surely yyou can change it to KLM. I'm pretty sure i set it up correctly as i chose my location as "Europe-West". Any one got any Ideas? Cheers

    Menu -> Settings -> Units

    I did.. I've read it from cover to cover. no mention of changing the MPH to KLM. I can change the screen layout, background colour, no of items displayed etc. etc., The Owners Manual doesn't have much more info in it than the "Quick Start Guide".

    I have a cat-eys computer which I bought for €15 and changing MPH to KLM is a standard feature. I can't belive its not possible on a €400 Garmin!

    Anyway, good you got it sorted, maybe garmin should package a Lumen with every 705.

    Page 56:
    Distance and Elevation - select Statute or Metric.

    Can be a bit tricky to remember where certain stuff is on the Garmin, like the auto-pause under "Training" rather than settings but it is all (probably) there.

    that had me for a good while, would have figured it to be under settings, pretty sure its under settings on the forerunner
