Has anyone used the exterior Supergard treatment? If so, was it worth the cost?

    Cheers

Never used it but not worth the money. Same goes for autoglym life shine, kit's available on ebay for around £20 and garages charge about £300 for the application. Don't beleive the hype that it lasts for a year plus

It's just a paint sealant, better sealants/waxes can be bought far cheaper. Chemical guys jetseal is excellent. Collinite waxes are some of the most durable, combine both of these and your on to a winner.

Just to add, is it a new car your thinking of getting this applied to? If so I wouldn't bother as the garage will prob do more damage to the paint during application.

Search on detailing world if in doubt :)

Thanks Neilw. Yes - thinking of having it applied to a new car. Thanks for the info. Sounds like it mightn't be worth the cash

    Deff not worth the cash.
I would recommend registering on carcare.ie and asking an enthusiast to detail your new car. Check the members work section for examples. I'm 100% sure one of the lads there will do a better job then any garage :)

Just pick up some Jetseal 109 and do it yourself, it's simple to do and only costs about 25 euro.
