were they round nosed rounds doc or pointy? the 5.56 is actually a small projectile, the majority of the round is a casing that gets spent out the side. only the little tip gets fired and that would look a bit like a fresh 9mm. the 9mm will usually have a flat or ball shaped tip as aposed to the sharp point of the 5.56 ball. :)

and Lethal Weapon is just a joke, what a waste of good pixels...

    :D

It's been a while since I saw it but as far as I can remember (I noticed the same) they used the same slug design for every computer graphic. Everything looked like a parabellum round when the cameras went into "bullet time", from the .50's and .45's, down to the 5.56mm's. I don't think they even went to the hassle of resizing for scale even. There is a UMP that chambers 9mm, but apart from that the 5.56mm is unaccounted for in every slow motion shot with multiple rounds, as are the .50 Desert Eagle slugs.

The one thing that always gets me with movies is counting bullets ta see if they add up to what should be in the mag. Cant remember them ever doin so.

Cowboy films are the only ones that bother.

Once its a "machine gun" they are like an electric drill and last for hours...

Or the gears in Brian Earl Spliners car in "the fast & The Furious". for the amount of times he switches gear he would have to have another car behind him to carry the gearbox...
