UPC mail settings for windows mail with gmail.

I put in the pop3 settings and SMTP one. I'm trying to set it to recieve gmail. Anyone know what I put in for the user name and password? The ones for gmail won't work. I don't have an e-mail address with UPC, so that's not going to work. I'm getting as far as log in to POP3.upcmail.ie. Where do I go from here?
