Hi all, does anyone know if its possible to safely convert a solid fuel boiler stove for use as a stove only?
Bought a new boiler-stove last year but only need a stove now. Is it possible to modify boiler stove for use as a boiler safely ?

    Thanks in advance.

    NO!

The best thing you cn do is try to sell it and buy a non boiler stove.

Surely if it the inlet and outlet pipes were physically disconnected and left vented (drilled caps) there's no danger of explosion or am I missing something here?

NO if it's made from mild steel it will redden and melt, if it's made from castiron it will shatter and bits of it will fly .
