    Other than the boat club does anyone know where i can join a tennis club? Am not a great player so would be more for fun and a little competition

    That link only shows "affiliated" clubs, but there are other places to play tennis. St. Martin's in Piercestown have a couple courts and a small club going there. Likewise at Glynn-Barntown, another gaelic club.

    If it's for children to play, consider the Parks tennis program. It runs for the month of July at centres all over the county. It's only €25, for an hours tennis each morning (Mon-Fri). Application form can be found at:

    if your looking for a quick game you can play for free at newbay house which is up past clonard, two great courts there. It was free last year at least.
