RIP. Such a sad loss for all, especially his family.

Ah god Another brick in the wall of my teens removed. :(

Sucide? That seems odd on the face of it for some reason. He always seems a lively likeable fellow.

I never watched Kung Fu but was a fan of his classic 70s Roger Corman exploitation flicks. One of the best - Frankenstein in Death Race 2000

I caught the early wiki entry - killed by Ninjas it said. Hi ho.

That was unexpected, just yesterday I was acquiring a number of his classic films to watch later on this week. I hope it was'nt suicide as he always struck me as an affable and lively individual. Was a truly gifted actor and one who the studios so rarely ever gambled on.

I don't think so. It said on the news that it was due natural causes.

Who in the heck is this guy? There's so many threads popping up around boards and never once heard of him.

    IMDb

Anyone under the age of 25 would probably most recognise him as Bill from 'Kill Bill' or Caine from the TV series 'Kung Fu'.

Just came across this in my search for classic Carradine clips.

Yes you did see that correctly, Robert Davi, Danny Trejo and David Carradine all appearing in a Jonas Brothers vidoe.

I used to watch Kung Fu as a knipper, and I was pleased to see him back on the big screen for Kill Bill Part II. He always struck me as a calm and laid back kind of guy, it truly is surprising to hear that he possibly committed suicide. RIP.

I grew up watching Kung Fu, So it was a great blast to end up doing some work with "Kung Fu the Ledgend Continues" in Mississauga, Canada (thanks Dan Bizairre).
David Carradine had his ups and downs, as we all do, and as a celebrity his became a little more public than most of ours. I think this showed his human side and certainly endeared us all to this great actor perhaps even more. Subconciously the characters played by actors such as David can contribute in small or large ways to who we are, and so I send my thanks to David Carradine for being such a memorable part of this life. And of course, my condolences to his family.
