    Just a quick one!

    How do you say, for example "two plus two equals four" as gaeilge

    and what is the Irish translation for other basic mathmatical words i.e multiply, subtract & divide etc,

    A link to something relevant would be great

    Yes Conchubhair is right.


    But a shorter way of saying it is-

    ADDING
    Dó ‘s Dó, a ceathair (two and two, four)
    Cúig ‘s cúig, a deich

    DEVIDING
    Seachtó roinnte ar seacht, a deich

    MULTIPLING
    Deich [méadaithe] faoi dhó, fíche
