Roof rack for VW Golf?

I'm checking out a roofrack on micksgarage.ie but I have a couple questions. Our car is a 2008 VW 5-door Golf but I cannot see exactly how a roofrack can be fitted. There are no plastic strips running down either side of the roof, no other obvious indicators that a roofrack can even be fitted. Sorry for being dumb, I'm auto-retarded when it comes to things like this.

So what I'm asking is... How can/does a roofrack be fitted for this type of car. Thanks for any advice and sorry for the dumb question.

Are there four little push-down flaps near the four corners of the roof? Have a look in the handbook, it should say.

Thanks for the reply, I managed to find a handbook online (missus lost ours). I see that there are attaching holes on the underside of the front doors and on the back doors there are the two small indentations either side so I'm presuming this is that. I'm gonna hit micksgarage and go with it. Thanks for the reply.
