Dimplex Portable Oil Filled Heaters

    Hi

    I have an oil filled heater Dimplex OFC2000, and I accidently caused it to over heat and trip the safetly overheat protection. How do I get it to turn back on, it is a few days now and it is defo cold now. Help help I be truly grateful.

    I'd imagine a thermal component would need replacing.

    Did you block the thermostat vents? Generally, they shouldn't overheat unless covered.

    no I was careful not to. Thanks for the response will ring dimplex support and see if they can help
