Ploughed field - which tiller/harrow to use?

I ploughed a field last September and intended to sow it for grass (reclaimed land). But the weather turned bad and it got too wet and late in the year to do anything.

Now, over the winter, grass and weeds regrew in it. I've topped it (to the clay) last week, and there's sheep grazing there too. I need to harrow it or something though before sowing. I'll spray it first too (don't want to but it needs to be done)

What would be the best machine to do the job? Just to loosen up and break up the soil? I have a JD 6400 so don't want something that will be too hard for that to drive. My dad is talking about a disk harrow but I'm not sure.

Also, a contractor will sow it with a one-pass system. I want to have it left ready for that and also to try level out some hollows.

    Thanks for the help :)

Really, you should spray with roundup when the weeds and grass have a bit of growth on them. Not after mowing or grazing. Need a bit of green leaf to take the herbicide down to the roots for a proper kill.
Leave min 6 days after spraying and then I would say to power harrow to get a good fine sed bed. Maybe if you have a rotovator you could do the same job, just to the top inch or so. Plan the seed with a seed box which you should be able to get from local co-op if you get the seed there.

Than roll, roll and roll to get the seed properly imbeded in the seed bed.

Note: Good dose of 10:10:20 and a shot of liime for best results.
