where to buy rain ponchos

    anyone know a place in town that would sell rain ponchos? I'm looking for something that would cover me on a bike etc.

    ponchos flap around a lot, I wouldn't use one. Great Outdoors on Eglington sells them, though.

    I think you'd be better off with a pair of rain pants and a weather-proof jacket. Regatta rain pants at Great Outdoors are 30 euro - bit pricier than the 20 euro model but the material is better I think.

    If you can afford a goretex (or similar) jacket, it's an investment you're not likely to regret. You can buy online for cheaper, just try a few on in store to find out your size.
