can i get sky if upc is my phone provider

    just wondering if i have my phone and broadband with upc can i get sky in, i am asking this becasue i heard upc don't use a traditonal phone line and you must have your sky box connected to a phone line line all the time thanks

    If it's just one Sky box you are getting then a permanent phoneline isn't required, though there is a €37.50 levy.

    thanks byte i want to get multi room as well what is the levy for and will i have to pay more because i want multi room

    For Multiroom, a phoneline IS required, and must be connected to each box! That's why I said just one Skybox in my previous post.

    Personally, not being in or near a UPC broadband area, I dunno if their system will play ball with Skyboxes. Some do, some don't.

    My two skyboxes work perfectly fine with UPC's phone service. There are numerous other posts on Boards.ie from other people who also have sky digital and UPC phone working fine.
