Given the importance that the college puts on this "the highest honour our university can bestow" it seems that little advertising is given to it usually some kind of lecture is given by the recipient and once again i have missed it. i did catch the hilary putnam lecture in 2007 but i was told by a staff member of it…

do they want to shield these people from the university's students???

Well i have been here for four years and have never heard of it. I dont know what it is but I kind of want one.

i'm always finding out just after the event when they put up a piece up on the homepage
