Can't help with the political stance of those former Presidents, but what happened in 87/88 that there were 3 Presidentes?

    eek. bear with me.

The UCDSU 08/09 guide threw me first because it has both Ulick S. and Andrew B. as president in 1986/87. I've recently found out that Ulick was impeached in Feb. 87 and that Andrew B. took over.

I also had Enda C. down as 1976/77 and so on but because he was elected in 1975 and took office in July of that year it should of been 1975/76 and so on. Sorry about that.

I think it should be ok now:

2008/09 Aodhán Ó Deá (Non politically affiliated, moderate)
    2007/08 Barry Colfer (KBC)
2006/07 Dan Hayden (Non politically affiliated, moderate then joined KBC?)
    2005/06 James Carroll (KBC)
2004/05 Fergal Scully (Non alligned left)
    2003/04 Paul Dillon (LY)
    2002/03 Aonghus Hourihane (KBC)
    2001/02 Aonghus Hourihane (KBC)
    2000/01 Eamonn Ó Lionnain (KBC)
    1999/00 Carol Fahy
    1998/99 John Nisbet (LY)
    1997/98 Ian Walsh
    1996/97 Shane Fitzgerald (GP?)
    1995/96 Loghlin Deegan
    1994/95 Aisling Ni Bhriain

Are you a current student 1968?

Barry Colfer was in the KBC in first year but not involved as president or since if that affects it at all. Aodhan O'Dea was a member of FG at some stage but not active recently.

I'll ask some of the old school people + see if they know any more. Pretty sure a huge chunk will be KBC anyway.

Dan Hayden was not ever in the KBC.

    For not doing his job.

He ran as a 'joke candidate'. As the Irish Times describes, "Mr Stafford ... made virtually no public appearances during the election campaign and sent his "handlers" to meetings bearing a tape message recorded by him"

If elected, he promised that "Campus masses should be said in Swahili in the iambic pertameter" and "Re-zoning of the Arts Block as a nudist colony"

He received 48% of the vote.

There were moves to set up a "Provisional UCDSU" after his victory. I'll be writing up more bout this on the blog soon.

Apologies about the name. That would be great if you could confirm that.

Looks like Aodhan has posted up the full list of Sabbatical Executive Officers (President, Education, Welfare, Entertainments/Social & Cultural and Campaigns)from 1975/76 to 2009/10
    Fair play.

    LOL. :D

While I know him well enough to know that it can't be ruled out, I highly doubt it!
