    Any Jazz/blues/soul music policy pubs or clubs in Galway?
    Or does the music chart reign supreme?

    Think "Blue Note" has some Jazz music on at nights but tbh having never been there I wouldn't be too sure. Not sure how accurate this is but this list gives some of the Jazz venues in Galway.

    Rumour has in that Spanish Arch hotel does jazz on Sunday afternoon. Not into it myself though.

    Barna may be a bit far out for you, but there is a fun free gig on Thursdays with The Elevation Blues Band at the Twelve. More swampy/Americana than Jazz Blues though...

    There is Jazz on a Saturday night in the Twelve Pins in Barna. At least there used to be, I haven't been there in a good while.

    Would second No Banjo for a good band!.
    Just heard that Elevation are doing a fundraiser at the Harbour Hotel this Fri along with other bands..sorry I am not a mine of info on who or what:rolleyes:
