Changing frayed drivers side seat belt in a 98 Hyundai Coupe

heading up the the breakers after work to pick up a replacement belt.
The breakers says he has one (drivers side seat belt in a 98 Hyundai Coupe)

Question is how easy are these to fit (Is specialist equipment required?)

And

How much should I be offering for this?
he said €60 to me over the phone.

Also does anyone know of any other scrap yards around the Raheny,Coolock,Swords triangle?

Only thing I'd say is that I would suggest you get something like that fitted professionally if you can afford it. Too much at stake in case you miss something.

I'd even reconsider buying something like that second hand but thats just me.

Me too, TBH. Quite apart from the risk of the seatbelts already having been used in a crash, i'd be worried that the mechanism may have internal corrosion due to being left in a car with broken windows in the rain, etc. Have you priced a new one, OP?
