    Hey guys another guitar based question, I am looking at getting a Radial X-Amp mainly for reamping which I know it does very well but is it possible to use this box in conjunction with a D.I. to have a guitar player in the control room playing thru a combo 60 ft away in live room?

    To explain clearer signal chain would be:

    Guitar -> D.I. -> X-Amp (via xlr) -> amp.

    If this is possible I think I will order the X-Amp today.

    I have one. Great piece of kit. Their Di boxes are very cool too.

    THe X-amp needs a line in.

    So it should go Guitar> Di> Pre-amp> (Tape if you want) >X-Amp > Amp.

    A Male to Male Xlr would be handy too.
    I bought mine from Thomann.

    Radial do have a product for long guitar cable runs too. That balances and unbalances the signal, more like what you are describing...

    The Drag is a nice feature which lets you adjust the instrument impedance...
