    All day??

That's all I've ever seen him wearing. I don't like rugby though so it could be different for other people.

Ah jaysus leave the young whipper snapper Frado alone, its not a bad thing that he doesnt like big sweaty men playing with balls.

A man would have been hanged, drawn and quartered back in the day for displaying that kind of nonchalance before m'lady.

She doesn't seem too put out, though - presumably the cucumber sandwiches were up to scratch.

    Bloody royalty. Who needs them?

I'd still back HM to walk over ROG and it'll be down to Jamie and Stephen to take her down before the gain line!!

Quote o the day, my trousers were dry before reading this, they are now mildly moist!

ROG looks marginally less excited about meeting the Queen than he did about winning the grand slam tbh. talk about a dry fish :D

    "the Queen"

And what Queen would this be, Irish people? I was sure we had "the President" whereas countries like the Netherlands, Sweden, Britain, Denmark and others had "the Queen"?

I'm looking out the window and I can't see thousands of British troops getting off the boat in Dún Laoghaire either. What gives?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,661 ✭✭✭General Zod

Well, she wouldn't take off her gloves to shake his hand.

Actually, the queen doesn't touch anyone.
Respect is a two way thing.

Ah the thing is that the entity which is the BOI Island of Ireland rugby all stars team represents the whole of this island not merely the republic, so the queen owns 20% of them or something. If ROG doesnt like it, he's in the wrong game.

Actually I hope the taxpayer is'nt subsidising them IRFU hoor's, they dont even represent our glorious republic.

while i am not a fan of the monarachy etc .... i thinks it fairly shocking ROG's hands in the pocket etc.

shes a head of state etc and Johnson and co showed their scum credentials in landsdowne i always thought our sports persons were above this .

A great player ROG but such a arrogant fella

Shes not HIS queen, shes a plank and should be put up in a scum between munster and connacht see wuold win that one!

One does not require glasses, as one has a lesser one to do all that seeing work for her.

O'Gara not only let himslef down by acting in such an ignorant fashion, but he let the whole team down too > I wonder what his fellow NI team mates make of his childish behaviour?

O'Gara (looks like) a complete wanker for showing Zero respect > according to the Irish Times front page.

O'Gara is a complete wanker for showing Zero respect.

Apparently O'Gara is the one who spent most time talking to the queen, even complimenting her grandson. I don't see how it is disrespectful to put his hands in his pockets after he shook her hand.

Maybe the picture in the Irish Times is misleading???

I guess too many people on here spend half their school days being told to take their hands out of their pockets by the headmaster :D

this is about as disrespectful as Boris leaving his jacket undone at the olympics closing ceremony to be honest, or painting the Union flag green white and orange :D

if pics like this go around the world ,this will reflect badly on the irish republic and its people
