Just make sure you format it using FAT32 so the PS3 can read it ok.

This will limit you to a maximum file size of ~4Gb so some HD movies will be out of the question, not even sure if the playstation supports all HD formats, but worth noting the limitation all the same.

Seagate..I got a 1TB from PC world for €99.
It has the energy saving which means the hard drive powers down when not in use after a user set specific time..
Forget about Iomega...bloody things are constantly spinning...gets really annoying and can't be good for it in the long term.

I recommend spending the extra bob for this feature..

this is hte 1.5TB model for €138..it's out of stock at the moment but you can't go wrong for that price.
