You have limited world view and imagination if that is what you think.
Do You know who Screamin' Jay Hawkins is and who Serge Gainsburg is?!?!??!

Minogue and Cave are close in age and are from the same country

You started a thread with no specifics and people posted going with your OP.

You then insult a poster that took the time to post in your thread.

Oh god love us. They couldn't be further apart when it comes to music styles. Age, country? What's that got to do with anything?

It requires a certain lack of knowledge to not know that she had been very pally with the people from a different style of music to that she had in the past performed. Age, country and friends has a lot to do with being surprised style is important but surprised by it considering she had gone independent and came out with "Confide in Me" I was not.

I may be a musical snob to some but come on guys I am talking about genuine surprise about something people haven't heard about

Liza minnelli's face and the barrell of a shotgun would make a great collaboration.

You are certainly coming across that way tbh.

Oh but I bet you haven't heard about that super exclusive track recorded in 96 by this uber cool indie band no-one has heard of and a death metal/jazz improv/bluegrass quartet from Azerbaijan.
They had an album recently, but the early stuff is loike sooo much better.

You have limited world view and imagination if you think the main things that separate and differ between people is age and the country they are from especially when it comes to something like music.
