Can you name the guitar chord?

Hey all, You might have seen this guy on Jools a week ago. I'm a newbie to learning guitar but would like to give this one a shot... it seems to be just two chords with a short bridge inbetween. Just dm and A7, presuming that dm is the tonic.

the second chord is like an open A string over an e to f hammer on the fourth string you don't really hear that dominant 7 th sound...there's a bridge?
by the way you don't wanna tune up to this guy.
