Subbed list and private forums

Alright I think I've figured out what the problem was. (Because I'm still having problems despite thinking it was resolved.) Well figured out as in I know what's wrong but don't know why!

My private forums disappeared from my subbed list, and this happened to another user too. I just subscribed again and it's ok now. But I'm not getting email updates when there is a new post in a thread I'm subscribed to that is in a private forum. Also when there is a new post in my private forums I don't see the asterisks next to the forum name on my subbed list. That's all, I think.
