    Fitzpatrick's 5 - 3 Silver Tassie

Great game of darts we threw it away really 3-1 up and lost all 4 games at the back but games we should of taking out the auld doubles are killing us a bit at the moment but a few lads heads where already on the cup match next thursday as we have no chance for the league so the cup is our goal now and its a very realistic goal regardless of what other people may think

thats what i don't like about this league the top too think they are untouchable and to come out with a quote that the winner will come from either the lough or kelly's really belittle's the tassie who i play for and weir's i think us at the tassie if we get to the second final on the trot will give both teams a game and we are also good enough to beat either the lough or kelly we have the player's and we have the hunger to win and really really upset the odd's come on the tassie
if you actually sit back and look at what was said was that it was no surprise to see the way the draw worked out nobody mentioned they where untouchable actually its quite the opposite the league is closer this year .also to say i disrespect any other team is totally way of the mark anyone that stands up on that oche has my greastest respect .like in any competition there has to be a favourite thats all as you point out in your quote upset the odds.

True true the lough in my opinion are favourite's they have a very strong team the best to be honest but to say that the winner will come from both of them is really saying the tassie and weir's are only making up the number's i didn't say you disrespected any one i said your comments belittled the team in our semi i know you personally and know you have respect for any one who steps up to the board but to write off the tassie and weir's is really a mistake waiting to happen

Well said Ste, we could have been 4 nil up against the lough last week and when we played kellys we went ahead and had darts to take something from the game just the doubles done us. So that comment about the winners coming from the other semi is totally disrespectful. Write the Tassie and Wiers off at your own peril but remember he who laughs last laughs longest:p

if me aunty had balls, she'd be me uncle!!!! first of all,you should'nt have been 4 nil up, john ennis and peter taite should have won their games and did'nt, mick kane and lar bryan should'nt have won their games and did, swings and roundabouts, its like utd and chelsea in one semi and wigan and spurs in the other semi, you would expect the winner to come from the first semi, but as was said you never know in the cup, its all on the night, 4 good teams that got their on merit, best of luck to all. personally i always like to see the underdogs winning, well nearly always.

I cant go into 9 darts, but there is a rumour of a protest been put forward to the Borough League from Robbins about the farm team, both captains will have a meeting with the bourough committeeto sort the matter out, the outcome is then up to the committee.

Silence i kill you right lads lets finish the friendly banter about the cup and lets predict the out come first of all live in weir's its the all star's (lough inn) vs anto's babe's (kelly's) i'm going to bite my lip and go for possible 5 - 4 but its very hard to call the lough have some very inform players as do kellys its weather lar mick billy and the boy's can over come two league defeats to kelly's in the league (hope i got this right don't want the fat man correcting me) maybe third time lucky but i think the loss of bullet will play a major role so i'm going for KELLY's in the second semi's all the was from the cupboard in mckenna's dun laoghaire its the hi ho silver (tassie) vs the eagles (weir) mmmmmm no points for thinking who i'm going to pick but should be an interesting game we have the eagles farmhouse three (bonnie ollie karl) vs the tassie's farmhouse three (ste will clive) can the tassie make it two finals on the trot i do hope so it would be my first no matter how the game's go we'll see both set's of player's in some night club in dun laoghaire (except lime) but going for a tassie 5 - 3 win best of luck to all four teams and who ever goes thru will deserve it

the lough drew 4-4 with Kelly's on there home turf. so that's a win and a draw. best of luck to all four teams in the cup, both matches could go either way.;)

well lads reading all your points of view, and in my mind i think the tassie are certs, now the other semi is a different story the lough and kellys, this so tight, but my view is its going down to the wire, and who has the balls so thats why i am gonna side with kellys, who just seem to do it under pressure time after time........but anyhow lads best of luck to everyone involved

i'm not sure where your coming from mate to be honest 1st to say tassie are cert's is wrong no disrespect to tassie but weir's are there off their own back's and regarding the other semi it'll come down to the better player's and i think that'll fall on the side of the lough to be honest and a lot of their player's have done it all before so whether they have the ball's or not isn't in question.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 8 ttx20

:confused::cool::cool:i think the question should have been did Thornton beat anyone. he was so bad he had only won 4 out of the first 9, and he was lucky to win them. i left after that couldn't watch anymore. lets hope part is better.
