Location for Stag (Ireland)

Hi, I'm looking for any ideas on a location for a stag in July/August. Defo has to be in Ireland and probably anywhere from the midlands south. Just want semi-decent accom, self catering or similar, maybe throw in an activity or two (not essential as some lads wont do them anyway). Want to kinda stay away from the citys. A…

Hi,

I'm looking for any ideas on a location for a stag in July/August. Defo has to be in Ireland and probably anywhere from the midlands south.

Just want semi-decent accom, self catering or similar, maybe throw in an activity or two (not essential as some lads wont do them anyway). Want to kinda stay away from the citys. A good drinking country town with a few pubs and a night club. Its not going to be a mad stag, just a good few school and college mates going on a session like the old days...

Any suggestions - towns mentioned already are ennis and carrick-on-shannon...

Hi Radiotower,

My stag is in june and were staying in letterkenny in donegal, for 2 nights in quality hotel in centre of letterkenny its 80 euros for 2 nights, its a good spot loads of pubs some discos bars and some irish bars for the good session

+1 for letterkenny. Very popular spot for stags and hens. Especially as many people mis north to stock up on cheap beer for the weekend.

Thanks lads but Letterkenny is prob too far for alot of the lads from Cork/Kerry and that area - that'd be a hell of a drive home with a hangover....

Hi there,

Had a stag in Kenmare, Co Kerry Sat night.. all I can say is what a night.. locals are very good and the pubs are top class..
