    • Not too loud
    • Pool table and/or darts board
    • Jukebox (notwithstanding point 2!)
    • in/near town
    As a bonus:
    • Dark musty corners
    • "Quare hawks"
    • the odd squeezebox session

    The Southern Star, Southern Road has all of the above. Just up the hill from Paddy the Farmers bar.

    We used to go in there playing poker a few years back , great spot for a game.
