We could turn them on their sides and take the doors off them and use them as allotments! :D:D:D

Can they not sell them and make a bit of money out of them?
Technically speaking they are toxic waste

Install Pacman in them and shove them in the back of pubs.

The economy is going back to the 80's - why not our public houses?
They don't have a display that can handle pacman. Otherwise it's like a stripped down 1984 home computer http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sinclair_QL and 16KB ram should be enough to run Pac man

    As we
took it apart, we confirmed that this was indeed a
system built around a 68000 processor that came
with 256Kbytes of EPROM, 8 Kbytes of
EEPROM, 16 Kbytes of RAM, two 6850-based
serial ports, a printer port, and two screens (e.g. 4
lines of 40 characters on the voter display, 2 lines
of 40 characters on the small election official
console attached to a wire out the back

even if you took the electronic gubbins out the case would not be as strong as the existing metal ones so can't even use as that

even a paper trail isn't enough if the machine flips your vote first

Better yet...Tie them to certain Politicians and bankers and then chuck them into the Irish sea. Not very environmently friendly but hey....;)

He must be shooting some serious s**t on the doorsteps, I cant understand how he gets elected by such a margin every time.

Although 'de new road' seems to be a common one

Why, stick one up the ass of each minister of course. Cowen would of course need two as he's Taoiseach.

And he probably wouldn't notice the first.

I wouldnt mind getting my hands on one to do a bit of reprogramming - 68k processor - common enough

Agree that they will end up in pubs...

Each machine should be copiously lubricated with large amounts of KY jelly. Then each machine should be inserted into Martin Cullen's and John Dempsey's asses one at a time.

And who will pay for this KY jelly? what a waste of money! no lube needed,

I reckon we should hold a vote to see what we should do with them, and use them in this vote - just to confuse matters!

Turn them into condom machines and install them in the Dail for the dic****ds that reside there.

Can they sell them to other countries that would use them.

I think they should be turned into political policy vending machines, full of slogans like fortune cookies. Can't be any worse than the unadulterated diarrhoea the government is spouting these days anyway.

Crush them and use them to fill in some of the bloody pot holes.

Apparently Robert Mugabe has this evening made a formal offer for our entire collection of e-voting machines on a "sold as seen" basis.

We might still be able to flush this transaction out of the system yet lads, there's a sucker born every minute apparently! :D:D:D
