    Just spotted this thread now, great idea cos I can't afford to buy games right now!

    Mass Effect
    Forza Motorsport 2

    Maybe though needs to be restarted with a few simple guidelines in the OP to avoid reposting and the thread getting muddied?

    I.E. The format a post should be in...example below

    Games Offered: Halo3, Gears 2, Dead Rising
    Looking For: COD4, Prince of Persia, Left4dead.
    Delivery Post or swapsies in Dublin 8

    Then the post can be edited with offers and accepts??

    Hopefully we could get a sticky out of it?

    Anyway Lamposts: I will do stuntman for Gun (reluctantly! Is there any combo of games I have that you would take for Mirrors Edge and/or Megadrive collection ?)

    Pogmothone: Will do Lost for C&C

    Podge: Will do Crackdown for Most Wanted.

    Niallon: Will need to get back to you on Condemned for Carbon, I think the bro might have that one already, not sure on that yet, will get back to you after the weekend.

    Am based in Waterford so will have to do post if thats ok (Will post on Tuesday morning -away in Kerry for the weekend - for anyone who wants to swap).

    Mika would be interested in Dirt / maybe Tiger Woods at a push. Have I anything there you are interested in ?

    Dez-Warlock I hear SOF is brutal, but I'd still be interested in checking it out if I have anything you are interested in !

    Hi all,
    I had a site called "Game Swap Ireland" (www.gameswapireland.com) about a 1.5 years ago, and a few people were using it, but it eventually died.

    I had only implemented it as a message board, but I was just last week looking at some of the open source / free classifieds web apps, and I was thinking of giving it another go.

    It was (and would be again) totally free.

    What do y'all think ?

    Should I give it a whirl again and see how it goes ? It might do a bit better with the recession and all.....

    Right, I've got the base site up and ready, so feel free to start using it.

    The URL is http://www.gameswapireland.com

    I'll put up a few things this evening to start the ball rolling.

    When somebody replies to you, then the system will send you an email and you can deal directly with them.

    Finally, if you do a swap - just update your ad with "[GONE]" in the title (so we can see if there is much activity on the system.

    Hopefully it will take off and be worth while :)

    Also - please spread the word.

    Finally - email any suggestions to admin@gameswapireland.com
