hi guys, i want to connect my sorround sound system which is a logitech z5500 to my HD TV.
i have an AOC 32" full 1080p hd tv.

the logitech has an optical connection and a co-ax connection on the control module.
the tv has a digital spdif connection and analog L & R.

any suggestions on how i can connect it? its mainly for use with my xbox 360 and connecting my laptop to watch movies etc.
    hopefully its possible!
    any help would be great.!

Wire your 360 via optical , and you may need a new sound card for your laptop if you want true surround or use the dolby digital mode via the 3.5MM . Similarly the tv an be wired from the R+L to the 3.5mm jack on your Z5500.

thanks a mill for the info.

so, going on what you said, i can connect the following

1: laptop by using something like this

2: xbox360 by connecting an optical cable to the back of the xbox360 display cable block and then to the back of the logitech z5500 control box.

3: hdtv by connecting one of these to the tv and to the port on the back of the logitech z5500

    that seems about right actually.
doesnt seem to cost a bomb either!
