Sigh. I wonder if they notice that as soon as it gets warm, people stop going to class.

As a 'Mature' student (i'm only 25) who gave up a full time job. i find it funny to hear other students talking about freedom, as i've never had so much freedom in my life!

I work part time and I'm in college full time, I don't have a lot of spare time on my hands.

i also work part time and i do the college thing full time, i also have a 'hobby' that takes up one or two weeknight depending on my involvement and commitment,

but compared to full time work, where you cant just not show up, or come and go as you please, there is a lot of freedom, and how you spend you time is down to you....

now i do appreciate that i'm a lowly 1st year and that the work load will increase as i progress....

I have 5 exams and an oral for french. Yay.

Actually, question: One of my modules was supposed to be 100% continuous assessment but there's a 2 hour exam time allocated for it on the exam timetable on the NUIM website. Surely this is a typo?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 7,352 ✭✭✭funky penguin

Check with the dept! Don't assume its a typo, or you could be in for a nasty surprise.

I will say however, that I've heard of this happening, so you're probably right. :)

+1. I've made 18 paperclip bracelets out of regular paperclips so far and a paperclip necklace out of giant paperclips, so I look as though I'm sitting at my desk and up in my room all the time to my unsuspecting mother, but I'm really working on my soon-to-come stationary inspired jewellery empire! mwahaha :pac:
