Well, it was never really on and yet it was and then it wasn't and then it was. And then it wasn't.

Whats important for the squad for the rest of the season is that any other team would have never have come close to putting up a fight like that in such circumstances, they gave their all and are a credit to the club and the best fighting spirit of the game.

Onwards and upwards and now I want Utd to win tomorrow!

Nope, I want them stretched to breaking point, as many games to play as possible - they have 3 games in 7 days coming up so the more the merrier for me. Nab the league from under thier noses on the last day. That would do. :)

more important for them to continue with no momentum. Lose to Porto. Lose to Everton. Then stumble against Spurs, City and Arsenal in the league.

To score four goals at the Bridge without Gerrard is a magnificent effort. Can't fault them - though I can't help but think what might have been had Reina not let that 1st goal past him.

Not actually too gutted - had mentally prepared for the loss, just good to see the effort put in. Was still a good performance and I think that's more important right now to keep the momentum going in the league.

The Reina og happens. He was caught off balance by the tip on the ball from Drogba. Its the horrendous defending for the last two goals that kills me. I dotn mind being caught on the break when tryign to get goals but we had plenty of players in the box when they attaced but sloppy passing , really bad marking and ball watching ****ed it up. After putting in so muh effort up the far end, the defendign just smacked of "meh" at times.

Just hopeing that doesnt carry over to the league.

So, given that Liverpool are out of the CL and in all likely won't win the league will this season be deemed a success or a failure?

Is there money there for transfers during the summer? I would be surprised if there is given the money trouble at liverpools owners these days.

Anyone got somehting approaching a list of any Hillsborough related programs on tomorow? The one on the History chanell is all I know about so far, bar BBC covering the goings on at Anfield itself.

Whats the deal with the single thats released? The whole thing passed me by, can it be got anywhere outside the shop near the ground or whats the deal?

I remember that day sitting at home watching with my dad and that's the thing he kept saying over and over again that day. "How come there's only the one ambulance in the stadium"...remember him saying there would be more than that at the scene of a car crash and here was hundreds of people in serious trouble and only one. Just wrong.Just plain wrong.

And the sad thing about it was there was 42 ambulances outside and they were told not to come in because it was a hooligan problem.

Are you saying Liverpool are out of the title race? if so your wrong. Even if we don't win it the challange at season's start was to compete for the title. Mission complete.

The Hillsborough dramatisation is on ITV3 i think tomorrow night. I remember watching it when it was first aired. I think it took me days to recover from. I was only 3 when Hillsborough happened, so i think that programme was my introduction to the tragedy so to speak. It's well worth watching, but it's not for the squeamish.

But seriously ITV3? Could they not put it on their main channel? No, instead i believe they are showing a programme called "Britain's tallest children"

They are not out of the Title race but I dont think they will win it. Most pundits would agree with me. Of course that can change but United being United they will probably win it.

The main thing for this season is that we put up a title challenge which is what we're doing. The only trophy we can win now is the league!
So, disappointed if we don't win the league but for me this has been a season of progress, on and off the field.

And the title is still up for grabs

People may disagree with me, but i think this season has been a success, regardless of where we go from here. Obviously it could end relatively disappointingly . . .
We've mounted a strong title challenge. We're peaking at the right time. We're out of the champions league but the team did us proud and should take nothing but confidence from tonight.
Rafa has gone a long way to silencing the doubters and the "cracking up" brigade. He's definitely gotten under Fergie's skin in recent weeks

Oh and nobody is talking about Robbie Keane's sale now, because guess what - Benayoun, Kuyt and N'Gog have each stepped up when asked and really contributed.

Hopefully we can push on from here, but even if we fail in the league we've let our rivals know we are now a serious PL team

6 games from greatness lads. 6 games. 6 wins and we've one hell of a chance.

This may sound bitter but come on Arsenal and Barca much prefer to watch them two teams in the Champions League final than another boring Man Utd Chelsea final

It's chilling, that inability of the authorities to see or to react in any recognisably human way to what was clearly a catastrophe unfolding before their eyes. Unfortunately I think the police are still prey to this mentality, seeing people (particularly crowds of people) as objects rather than human beings. Which makes it all the more important that justice be done - 20 years late is much better than never.
