Acer Aspire 8920g network connection problem

Hi there, I've had this laptop a few months now and it connected to my eircom netopia router fine in all that time, however just today for no reason it's completely stopped picking up the signal from it. Hi there, I've had this laptop a few months now and it connected to my eircom netopia router fine in all that time, however just today for no reason it's completely stopped picking up the signal from it. The router is being picked up on other computers in the house (I'm using it right now on a different pc), but my laptop won't even pick up the signal in vista's little 'connect to' button, it's like it's not on. What's wrong?

Screw it, I just used a system restore and it seems ok, guess we'll never know what would cause such a thing.

If anyone knows, do tell to prevent me doing it again!

Have a look at your event logs in the event viewer (control panel -> admin tools) to see if there are any logs around the time that the wireless nic failed.
