Backlighting for the speedo has stopped working to one side of the instrument panel anyone know if this is just a fuse that's gone or will it require the whole instrument panel to be removed to replace a bulb?

Car is a 2002 Nissan Almera.

Its a bulb, if all the other dash lights are working, u need to replace the bulb.

not sure what the back of the panel looks like in the almeras but my prim has 4 501 bulbs, so id recon could be fuse. check that all your fuses are ok first then go at your instrument panel

Cheers, I will have a look through the fuses first, hopefully it's a blown fuse.

If it's only gone on 1 side then it's the bulb.

The below is a general 'signature' and not part of any post:

FYI, if you move to a 'smart' meter electricity plan, you CAN'T move back to a non-smart plan.

You don't have to take a 'smart' meter if you don't want one, opt-out is available.

Buy drinks in 3L or bigger plastic bottles or glass bottles or cartons to avoid the DRS fee.

Public transport user? If you're sick of phantom ghost services on the 'official' RTI sources, check bustimes.org for actual 'real' RTI, if it's on their map it actually exists.
