Old paint cans - grey bin? recycle?

    Am cleaning out the shed. What should I do with the 6 or so ancient paint cans? Grey bin? or are they hazardous? (am in Dublin)

    You have to bring them to your recycle centre , if you have a conscience, grey bin at the bottom if you don’t;)

    I do, I do (or I wouldn't be asking! :) ) but according to dublinwaste the only one is on the other side of the city, so will have to factor in petrol/carbon footprint too :(
