    Hi Guys....

Need a bit of advice.... Just bought a new house and dont like the fireplace, but also, dont have the money at the moment to replace it. I was hoping to "Jazz it up" a little on the cheap for time being.

Can you spray paint a wooden fireplace? Is there a particular paint that I should use? Any info or past experiences welcomed!!

    Thanks Guys!! :)

But that paint is for use on metal surfaces, not wood. Will it look good on wood? Would you need to paint on an undercoat?

I painted the wooden surrounds on my 2 fireplaces with regular paint - I don't see the need for specialised paint. They worked out fine and I have fires lit regularly. I just painted them as you would normally paint wood - sand, thin undercoat first, full undercoat, two thin layers of top colour.
