Any predictions on when I can shed this 5mm suit of armor for something a bit more flexible?
Its been a while since I have surfed in Ireland at this time of year.

I was wondering about this too, I want to take my son out bodyboarding again.
He only has a summer suit so I wasn't going to take him out untill late april/early may.
Hopefully someone will say we can go out sooner tho :)

I think I switched to a summer suit around late May last year.

We normally get into our summer suits mid may early june.
Really depends on the suit and your tollerance to the water temp.

The water is still pretty cold at this time of year - May is when we see a considerable rise in temperature.

Yep, definitely may... especially with younger kids in a 3mm. Kids get cold v quickly even during summer... but (as above) depends on tolerance..:p
