Suspending insurance - no claims bonus

Hi, a few months ago I lost my no claims bonus. I renewed my policy this month. I will be going to America of 3 months in the summer. I know I have the option to suspend my policy for that time and park the car somewhere safe. But how will this effect me rebuild my no claims bonus?

I suspended my insurance for 9 months when i went to Oz,Im with AXA,the 9 months got added to my ncb as I only suspended the insurance and not cancelled.

Ring them and ask,best bet
