30 things to do before I'm 30

I have been thinking a lot about age, life experience etc, lately, I am 28 but I don't feel 28 and it's because I don't think I've done much! When I was a teenager I would have expected my 28 yr old self to be married, rich, with a lovely apt, fancy car and of course a very glamourous job!!

Anyhoo I have been thinking that I am nearly 30 and there are a lot of things I want to do before I leave my 20s behind!

Ps, I am not suggesting life ends at 30, when I reach 30 I will then make a list of things to do before Im 40!!

So here goes, let me know what you think and any further suggestions appreciated as Im still short!

1. Go on holiday alone
2. Go for dinner (to a restaurant) alone
3. Learn a new language
4. Join a book club
5. Go speed dating!
6. Ask a guy out
7. Do karaoke (without 7 drunk friends!)
8. Start studying for a degree
10. Do a cookery course
11. Get my full drivers licence
12. Run a marathon
13. Get something published
14. Go to a music festival
15. Do a sky dive/parachute jump/bungee jump
16.Start a pension!!
17. Get a tattoo
18. Give blood
19. Go to Croke Park
20. Buy myself an expensive piece of jewelry
21. Start a blog
22. Trace family tree
23. Live in another country
24. Go to the cinema alone

Ha ha! No I just think it takes balls to go for dinner, on hols etc alone. Sure doing those things with someone is hardly new or scary!!

Ah god yeh! Sure you're only in your mid 20's, I'm in my late 20's, thats the big difference!!

I have done the following on your list:

11. Get my full drivers licence - got it a year ago
16.Start a pension!! - had it for about 2 years
