Good place to get Summer work?

    Just a student who's nearly finished his first year, and was wondering if anyone knew of any place work applying to for full time Summer occupation... Maybe hotel's, popular resteraunts etc....

    Yea, apply for as many places around you as you can :D There are other students like me looking for work for the summer too and more than likely 100's of others!!

    Start applying straight away and include in your cover letter the date you are able to start.

    To give yourself an edge, start right after yor exams if your able to give up your much needed break.

    Also go into places closer to the time if you don't have any luck, looking presentable!

    Traditional fast food places and stores like Tesco and Centra will always hire but its tougher to get summer job now and probably be better to head outskirts of the city were lots of people flock or try around Croke Park area if your in Dublin
