    I don't think Vodafone operate in Canada. If that's the case I doubt they care as they would only be paying for exclusivity in the markets they operate.

    That's the point. They say "purpose-built for Vodafone", but if another network, i.e. Telus mobility, have it, then it doesn't really sound as if it was supposedly built for Vodafone since another network also has it on their network, regardless of whether Vodafone operate in the country or not.

    Yeah but it sounds good to someone watching the ad who hasn't a clue and doesn't realise all vodafone did was throw a bag of money at them.

    Hence my claims of false advertising. ;)

    In my opinion, Vodafone can keep their Blackberry Storm. With the amount of issues people have experienced with that handset, they can advertise for as long they want, people will still return it in droves.

    087= capitalist scum IMO.

    Telefonica O2 are the third biggest telecommunications company in the world, and were fined a record antitrust fine of €152m by the EU, and Meteor are owned by Eircom, owned by Babcock & Brown, and 3 by Hutchison Whampoa - not exactly small companies either.
