The segment with Edge/Show/Vickie on Smackdown was sooooo bad I lost any interest Id left in the match. (this coming from a huge Edge fan) And that was before Cena came out.
The card doesnt look as good as last years-the Jericho/Legends angle has just faded out to the point where I wish the fued was over and done with.

For those asking about Midday Madness you dont know who you are meeting until you get to the room.

I like this years card, the 25 diva battle royal with some old faces coming back will be better than the women match we got last year.

If we have to watch a jbl match id rather it be against rey than finley like last year but granted it has had no build up.

The MITB line up isnt has good as last years but i still think there will be some decent spots in it, also i think what will happen in the hardy v hardy match will make up for it.

We should have a very good tag team match this year.

Hbk v Taker should be awsome

The triple threat match has had a stupid build up in my view but i think on the night it will be a decent match and may suprise a view.

Orton v HHH has been built up really well and should be a great match, better than taker/edge last year. Also i think there is alot more to the jericho match ie austin etc. I like many others would of rather seen austin/jericho in a 1 v 1 match with a good build up but there you go.

Overall i think this years card is better than last years but some of the matches could of been built better.

Because last years one was a real Mania classic!

I'd tend to agree here. Battle Royals at Wrestlemania to me are a no-no, the one at 2 was terrible with all the bloody footballers in it, and the one at 4 would have been easily forgettable had the Harts not been groomed for a face turn a couple of months ahead. Had Bret not become the star that he had done (unlikely event, I know), then nobody would have cared less about that double cross ending between two mid carders.

But that (along with Jimmy Hart) did serve as a catalyst for the turn of the Hart Foundation, so obviously it's more significant.

Chris Jericho vs. Jimmy Snuka, Ricky Steamboat and Roddy Piper in a 3 on 1 match has been removed from the Wrestlemania website. According to Dave Meltzer, there has been a change of heart again from Vince concerning this match and we should know more come tonight's edition of Raw.

While I see what you are saying, i think you mis read what KNN said. Battle for brand supremacy, which was Batista Vs Umaga last year. Poor poor match.

Besides, there are so many inter brand matches on TV lately, what would the point be?

Really? I've found it to be pretty hilarious tbh. Edge and Show's actions and facial expressions have been gold, and for the first time in a long time I've actually really been enjoying John Cena. I'm looking forward to a fun and pretty fast match (yes even with Show) in this triple threat.

Also for those who don't like how MITB is looking, people like Mark Henry are just in the match for comedy value. It's gonna be pretty hilarious when we see Henry in the middle of the ring trying to figure out how to climb a ladder. We'll still get the good spots going on from the likes of Benjamin, MVP, Punk and Christian. Granted, I agree last year's MITB looked better on paper than this year's but let's face it, the big guys will mostly have a few moments in the match and will then be playing dead around the ring whilst the focus is on the others. It's not a big deal.

I don't think it'll happen now. I think they would have started building it up last week if it was going to happen, and there's 9 matches on the card already.

They could just do the same as last year and have the dark match battle royal

Why bring Bourne back pre Wrestlemania if he's not going to be involved in the show?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,785 ✭✭✭Kane-N-Nite

Maybe Mark Henry will trip on his way down the ramp & Bourne will replace him in MITB. :pac:

Then hopefully Kane suffers the same fate and Brian Kendrick replaces him

    Thought this might interest some:
Dozens of bars claim to be authentic Irish pubs, but Brian O' Neill's was actually biult in Ireland and shipped here piece by piece. The haunt features more than 45 varieties of brew, live music, and a clientele not nearly as filthy as Hornswoggle.www.brianoneills.com
As taken from the WrestleMania Blowout magazine. :)

never knew that about O'neills. It is a nice pub alright. For must of you staying downtown is a 10 min taxi ride. I like Slainte on main street and walking distance.

I guess that's their most popular session because there'll be over 70,000 fans in Reliant Park for that time, they don't need a big name to shift tickets :pac:

Ya, there is one downtown north of the Hilton, I don't know much about that one. But if you are looking for lots of designer brand name gear, The Galleria Mall is where you should go. http://www.galleriahouston.com/ its less than 10-15 min depending on traffic from downtown. Shops and restaurants everywhere!

You would need another weeks holiday to get around the Galleria i'd say

Seems clear to me the removal of Batista from the afternoon Sunday access and the legends match being pulled spells jericho vs. Batista would it not?
