I have no social life

    Im a 26 year old female and i don't get out much. I want to but i have no one to go out with. No one to meet up with.
    I am 8 years out of school and i seriously miss it cause i had friends. But somehow since then, friends i went to school with has all moved on. They moved away, working or travelling. I never see them anymore. They are never around.
    I work with older people but i want people my own age.
    What do i do? I am finding it very hard to meet people. That sounds crazy cause they are all over the place.

    I can't bear another weekend staying in.

    This sounds like me.

    Im trying to solve it though by looking for clubs that interest me.

    What would your interests be?

    Yup - me too. Think it's the age we're at (I'm 25 :eek:). Currently at home with parents, all my friends from college living and working in Dublin, any friends from home either scattered around the country or just lost touch. It's a pain but seems to be a common enough thing amongst our age group (from speaking to other friends in a similar situation) :D

    Like kittensoft says - maybe try joining a club. That's my plan anyway!

    I love going to the cinema, and gigs, comedy. I am too trying to join some clubs that i might like. Any clubs around galway?

    Life is what you make it, there are lots of communities here which have meet ups
    and go for beers, have a look around and see what interests you share with others.

    Galway beers is a good place to start.

    The Galway forum folk are lovely people.
