A lot of chick flick / chick lit is fairly cringey to me.

Outside of that, if I hear of / see anyone that had their front teeth smashed by a fall / assault.

I can visualise it. Fúck :(

PEOPLE WHO CLAP WHEN A PLANE LANDS!!!!!!!

hooray we didnt die on that one????
do you clap to the bus driver every time you arrive at your bus stop safely???
well no!!so dont do it on a plane!!

And the worst thing is, they only do it after a really rough crap landing, if the pilot manages to do a lovely uneventful smooth landing they don't clap

Anyone ever seen that kids programme "High Five"? Very cringey.

Also if I'm ever recorded on video or something, when I'm talking, I can't believe how awful my voice sounds. How come it doesn't sound like that to me in real life?!

    'American History-X' then...

Locking my keys in my car
slowly recalling unwise antics from a drunken night before
hearing the bad singers in talent shows
people getting over emotional over something small
sleeping way past my alarm clock on a work day

    People who sniff their jumpers.

Had a plonker next door when I was a kid that always did this. Problem was he had chronic sinus congestion. So he always had dry snot on his jumper. Can't stand to see people do it ever since.

Even worse if you lock your keys out of the car!

Listening to people trying to 'one up' each others stories.

Small talk made to fill silence.

I generally find it hard to watch Curb your enthusiasm or generally someone with very thick skin doing what they do.

also, whenever I'm holding a baby I always visualise the worst happening...letting it drop and falling under a lorry....that generally makes me cringe.

I remember I was walking home one night and up ahead were these lads, drunkenly singing wonderwall, guitar and all. It was quite beautiful actually.

Never heard of that kinda behavior until I went on a ryanair flight. Happened again on an easyjet flight incidentally.

People who try to use big words, but use them in the wrong context.

So you publicly espouse an opinion on something you then admit you know nothing about.

Well, you are well suited to posting in AH then.:pac:

I find that cringy but in a laughable way. I love that show!

For me I find it so cringy watching a geeky guy on tv trying it on with a hot girl. I watch through finger covered eyes!

Yeah, I dont know what it is with that show but when I watch it I get this sick feeling in the pit of my stomach, and I keep thinking "No, please....dont do that!!". It hurts to watch but I cant help wanting to watch more!!

The BBC version of The Office does it for me aswell. My stomach does be in wretches watching David Brent, absolutely brilliant to watch though, he's sucha twat!!

Any white wrapper (including that knob eminem) makes me cringe

If you're too afraid to say the N word you're not a real rapper

Remembering a friend I had about 20 years ago, she was the first friend I made outside of school and she had her own [council] flat. She turned out to be the most irritating person ever, her favourite word was "why?".
Like "oh I don't drink wine"
    "why?"
    "I'm because I don't drink wine..."
    "why?"
    and so on ad nauseum.
It would go on, literally for days. I once told her I didn't drink milk, for two weeks she harassed me "why?" I got so fed up of it that I said "because I got abducted by aliens when I was 4 and they told me I wasn't allowed to!!"

    *silence*

ah bliss, now I'd found a way to shut her up, and "because I was abducted by aliens!" became the excuse for everything

But I still cringe at the aggro I took from her before I came up with that 'excuse' :(
